Digital cameras and Dslr cameras need somewhere to store your costly images, this is where the memory card comes in. Memory cards have been nearby for years and there are many different types of cards and many different sizes that they come in, so do you know which card fits your Canon Camera?

Sdhc

Sdhc Flash Memory Card

If you own an entry level Dslr camera or a point and shoot camera then you are going to need a Sdhc memory card. Sdhc memory cards are nearby the size of a postal stamp and their very distinctive as one of the corners on the Sdhc card looks like it has been folded over or cut off.

Sdhc cards are made by many manufacturers including:

· SanDisk

· Kingston

· Canon

· Patriot

These cards also come in a collection of sizes, the bigger the size the more images or video your gadget can hold and capture. Any way the bigger the card the longer it will take for your computer to recognise all of the files on it production it longer to load up all of your images.

For normal everyday photography I recommend getting the SanDisk 4Gb Memory card, or if you need more warehouse get the SanDisk 8Gb Sdhc card for an extra combine of bucks.

Compact Flash Cards

Unless you own a mid range to pro camera body then chances are you won't need a Cf card, Any way if you're lucky sufficient to get one of these camera bodies then chances are you will need a contract flash(Cf) Card.

Once again the flash cards are made by all of the main camera manufacturers. The contract flash cards are much faster than the Sdhc card and will allow you to shoot at a higher burst of frame rates without overflowing the buffer.

One of the best Cf cards that I have used is the SanDisk Ultra Ii 8Gb contract Flash memory card which is very quick and can store duplicate the estimate of photos that the SanDisk Ultra Ii 4Gb memory card for only a few extra dollars.
